The  studio was shortlisted for this competition for a new municipal library in Sant Cugat, North of Barcelona.

Located at the entrance to an established park the design responds to the main pedestrian and visual axes with a generous portal with amphitheater that serves as the gateway to the park.

A partially buried volume uses passive systems to maximise the low energy requirements of the brief.
