Our proposal is designed to be part of an urban ensemble, recognising the importance of the Gutenberg Museum and its location within the city of Mainz.

The intent is to develop a museum that will establish a new relationship between the existing buildings and the historic city that surrounds it. We propose a magnet that strategically regenerates the old and carefully inserts new volumes in order to bring together both tradition and innovation.
